The fourth and penultimate draft of the Development Strategy for the Lower Mekong Basin from Mekong River Commission for review.
In point 2 of the Executive Summary… “Developments in the Lancang-Upper Mekong Basin in China and in the LMB are now changing the Mekong’s flow regime. To meet growing demand for goods and services, the private sector is actively seeking investment opportunities, which the river can provide”.
